Dangerous drugs stolen

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) A theft of narcotics, analgesics and sedatives from Bartlett Regional hospital is under investigation.

    Juneau police said one of the drugs, succinylcholine is a paralyzing agent that if used improperly can stop the users breathing and paralyze them.

    Anyone with information on the thefts are asked to call Juneau Crime Line or JPD.

    The theft was first noticed at 6:30 pm on April 10th.  Some of the drugs are used to resuscitate patients who are unable to breathe on their own.  JPD said some of the drugs are potentially lethal.
