Juneau, AK (KINY) - Troopers on Prince of Wales Island arrested a Craig man on an outstanding warrant.
Phillip Wilkes, who is 28-years-old and of Craig, attempted to flee troopers by running out the back door of a residence. After a short foot chase, he reportedly gave up and was subsequently arrested.
Wilkes was transported to the Craig Jail where he was remanded on the warrant with a $1,000 bail for Violating Conditions of Release.
