Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - 15 new resident cases of COVID were reported in Juneau today, by the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. There are currently 2 people hospitalized with COVID at Bartlett Regional Hospital, and according to Juneau Public health, there are around 124 active cases in the community.
The Juneau School District reported two new individuals at Floyd Dryden Middle School who’ve tested positive while in school
Statewide, 867 new cases were reported.
857 were residents and 10 were nonresidents.
The state also reported three recent deaths, two anchorage men in their 70's, and an anchorage man in his 60's.
Alaska has had 564 total resident deaths as a result of the pandemic.
