COVID-19 cases rise to 374

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported an additional two cases of COVID-19 today.

    The state reported 291 people have recovered, 38 have been hospitalized, 10 have died, and 12 are currently hospitalized or a person under investigation.

    The state said it continued to have plenty of hospital space and ventilators.

    There are 863 hospital beds in use with 990 hospital beds available.

    There are 55 people in intensive care with 140 ICU beds available.

    Ther are 26 ventilators in use with 318 available.

    Anchorage continued to have the most cases with 191.   The Fairbanks North Star Borough has 83, the Kenai Peninsula 23, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough 21, Juneau 27, Ketchikan 16, and southeast Alaska 50 cases.
