COVID-19 cases rise by four

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports the state total has reached 345 cases.

    The state said 218 people have recovered and 37 people have been hospitalized by the virus.  Nine people have died.

    The state said 10 patients are currently hospitalized that have confirmed COVID-19 cases or are a person under investigation for having the virus.

    The state said 15,256 tests have been administered.

    Anchorage had 171, the Kenai Peninsula 19, Kodiak 1, Fairbanks 63, North Pole 16, Delta Junction 1, Palmer 9, Wasilla 12, Nome 1, Juneau 27, Ketchikan 16, Petersburg 3, Craig 2, Sitka1 and Bethel 1.
