COVID-19 cases increase by two

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The total number of COVID-19 cases in Alaska went from 379 to 381 today.

    The daily report from the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services said 328 people have recovered, 38 have been hospitalized, and 10 people have died from the disease.

    The report showed 19.69% of the patients are between the ages of 30-39, 17.59% between the ages of 20-29, and 17.32% are between the age of 50-59.

    The active cases went from 41 on Sunday to 43 on Monday.

    Anchorage continued to have the most cases with 194, the Fairbanks North Star Borough 85, the Kenai Peninsula 25, Juneau 27, Matanuska-Susitna Borough 21, and Ketchikan 16 cases.
