Coronell and Patterson to serve as parade grand marshals

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The grand marshals for the 4th of July parade have been announced.

They are former Juneau Police Officer Ben Coronell and Sherry Patterson of the Juneau Black Awareness Association.

A release from parade organizers says the grand marshals have been recognized for their efforts in building bridges between the diverse groups that make up our beautiful Capital City.

The theme for this year's parade is "Building Bridges Across the Last Frontier."
