Juneau, AK (KINY) The Coast Guard have shared a video of the rescuing of the 11 people aboard a seaplane that crashed into a mountainside.
The video was recorded by Air Station Sitka. The crew were aboard an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter, where they hoisted 11 people from the crash site on Mount Jumbo. The Coast Guard, Ketchikan Volunteer Rescue Squad personnel and Alaska State Troopers coordinated the rescue. Only minor injuries were reported.
