KODIAK, Alaska — The 52-foot fishing vessel Stormie B used dewatering equipment provided by the US Coast Guard to save the vessel after it went aground.

Air Station Kodiak provided an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew to provide the equipment needed.

There were no reports of injury or pollution from the incident.

The cause of the vessel's grounding is under investigation.

A Good Samaritan fishing vessel, Buccaneer, arrived on the scene before the Coast Guard arrived, to help maintain communications with rescuers.
