Chambers retires from Capital City Fire Rescue

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - There's a change at the top rungs of management at Capital City Fire Rescue. Fire Chief Rich Etheridge said on Action Line Monday that it was the last day of work for Assistant Chief Tod Chambers.

He retired at the end of his shift Monday.

Chambers is moving back to his home in Fairbanks.  The chief says Chambers plans to take a non-PERS job with a fire department there.
