Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The CDC says cruise lines remain on course to set sail again by mid-July.
ABC News reports that the CDC says it remains committed to allowing cruise operators to resume sailing from US ports by mid-summer.
The CDC tells ABC its meeting twice a week with cruise industry representatives, and it has concluded that test cruises will no longer be required- if 98 percent of a ship's crew is vaccinated, along with 95 percent of passengers. The CDC also says fully vaccinated people will only need a rapid test when boarding. Brian Clark, ABC News]
