Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A resolution that requests Juneau residents shelter in place was continued until Monday.
The resolution will address the way the CBJ responds to the coronavirus crisis.
The resolution up for consideration would order people to stay home as much as possible, order non-critical businesses to close to the public, and order critical businesses that stay open to comply with social distancing guidelines as much as possible.
The Assembly will also be asked to officially close public facilities for a longer period.
The governor decided to close all schools in the state until May 1.
The assembly also has a lands committee at 5 pm and a committee of the whole meeting at 6 pm scheduled for Monday.
