
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center is reporting nine individuals identified with COVID-19 in Juneau
Six are residents and three are nonresidents.
Of the resident cases, Public Health is attributing three to secondary transmission and three are under investigation.
Of the nonresident cases, only one is new; the other two are older cases not previously reported.
All three nonresidents are from the mining sector.
There are 33 active cases in Juneau, All individuals with active cases of COVID-19 are in isolation.
Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services today reports 203 new people identified with COVID-19
202 are residents and one is a nonresident.
The state also reports one recent death, a female Anchorage resident in her 70s.
