CBJ and State report weekend case count

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center is reporting one new resident identified with COVID-19 for March 20-22.

    Public Health is attributing the case to out-of-state travel.

    Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reports 357 new people identified with COVID-19 over March 20-22.

    349 are residents and eight are nonresidents.

    As for vaccines, 13,336 people in the Juneau region have received their first dose and 7,570 are fully vaccinated.

    Statewide, 219,049 people have received their first dose, and 148,634 are fully vaccinated.
