CBJ and state report latest COVID-19 numbers

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center reported three new residents identified with COVID-19 on Thursday.

    Public Health is attributing one case to out-of-state travel and two are under investigation.

    There are currently 43 active cases with all those individuals in isolation.  There's one person hospitalized at Bartlett Regional Hospital.

    The next update from City Hall is scheduled for Monday.

    Statewide, the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported  374 new cases.   All but seven are residents.

    The state also reports three recent deaths.  They include two Wasilla men in their 70s and an Anchorage man in his 70s.

    That brings bringing the total number of resident deaths to 205.
