Case total of COVID-19 reaches 411 statewide

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The state case level rose by two today with an additional case in the Anchorage area and a new case in Sitka.

    The daily report from the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services showed 362 patients have recovered, 45 have been hospitalized during the pandemic and 10 have died.

    The report said 12 people are currently in the hospital or considered a person under investigation.

    The report said 19.95% of the cases are of individuals between the age of 30 and 39.

    The report said Anchorage has 207 cases, Juneau 31, Southeast Alaska 55, and Sitka two cases.
