Update: Body found in Statter Harbor not considered suspicious as of Thurs.

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The body of a deceased person was found in Statter Harbor in Juneau on Thursday. The Juneau Police Department was notified at 11:43 a.m.

    The body of the deceased has been identified as Aaron James Lynk, 48 and a resident of the harbor. Next of kin have been notified. According to a release from JPD, the death is not considered suspicious as of Thursday evening and his body "showed no signs of injury consistent with causing death." It is being sent to Anchorage for an autopsy.

    This investigation is ongoing. More information will be provided when it is available.
