Authorities make drug bust on fishing vessel

    Klawock, Alaska (KINY) - Alaska State Troopers, Craig Police, and Alaska Wildlife Troopers teamed up to serve an arrest warrant on a wanted man from Oregon Saturday.

    Dustin Jones, 34, was wanted for a misdemeanor charge in Craig. 

    Authorities said Jones resisted arrest when they tried to take him into custody.

    He was also charged with violation of conditions of release.

    Authorities went on to state that they secured a search warrant after observing the vessel and turned up 42 grams of heroin, 19 grams of methampehtamine, multiple firearms including a sawed off shotgun with a 13 inch barrel, digital scales and over $2,500 in cash.

    Jones was charged with three drug felonies that include misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree, misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree and misconduct involving a weapon in the third degree.
