Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Assembly Human Resources Committee on Monday took up a draft resolution to re-establish the Juneau Commission on Aging.
Committee Chair Loren Jones provide a report to the full Assembly at its regular meeting that evening.
"We're going to have the Department of Law fix one section and the motion was to refer that to the full Assembly which will be on the agenda August 21."
The commission has been inactive recently due to problems in gaining a quorum for its meetings.
