April 29 and 30 COVID numbers

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau reported seven new cases of COVID-19 for April 29 and 30 combined.

    Two of the cases are non-residents.

    All eight cases in the Thunder Mountain High School cluster have recovered. One resident case recently reported is connected to Glacier Valley elementary school and another is from Floyd Dryden Middle School. Possible exposures have already been contacted for both schools and have been told to quarantine and test.

    Throughout the state, 138 new people were identified with COVID-19, two of them non-residents.
