April 21 COVID-19 cases

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Five new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the City and Borough of Juneau for Wednesday.

    One of the new cases is associated with the Thunder Mountain High School cluster. The total number of cases related to the school is now seven. Six are individuals at TMHS while one is not.

    Another of the cases is connected to Sít' Eetí Shaanáx̱ - Glacier Valley Elementary School. Contact tracing is currently underway. All classes except for one will continue on regular, in-person schedules at Glacier Valley.

    Throughout the state, 201 people were identified with COVID-19, two of that total are non-residents.
