Appointments made to planning commission and hospital board

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) The CBJ Assembly held a special meeting to make the appointments Thursday night.

    Kenny Solomon-Gross, Lindy Jones, Deborah Johnson and Marshal Kendziorek were appointed to terms on the Bartlett Regional Hospital Board.  The ASsembly had four open seats.

    Solomon-Gross will serve until December 31, 2020.  Jones serves in the physician seat until the end of 2021.  Kendziorek was reappointed and Johnston was also appointed to three-year terms that end December 31, 2021.

    Ken Alper, Nathaniel Dye, Shannon Crossley and Travis Arndt were appointed to terms on the Planning Commission.  There were four open seats.

    Alper will serve until the end of 2019.  Dye was reappointed to a three-year term.  Crossley and Arndt will serve until the end of 2021.
     
    The Assembly thanked outgoing members Linda Thomas, Bob Storer, and Cate Buley for their service on the Bartlett Regional Hospital Board. They also extend their thanks to Carl Greene, Dan Miller and Percy Frisby for their service on the Planning Commission.
