Haines, Alaska (KINY) - Alaska Power & Telephone is waiving late fees and finance charges on all services it offers to customers through April 30. The company is also waiving all data overage fees on broadband accounts through April 30.
AP&T also intends to temporarily suspend service disconnections for any household experiencing a financial hardship related to COVID-19. Contact customer service to qualify and make a payment arrangement for your account to ensure your service is not suspended in the future.
Due to concerns about the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, and to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff, AP&T offices and facilities closed to the public through April 6, at which time the company will reassess the situation.
Customer service representatives are available to answer calls, provide account information, and assist customers with the process of making
