Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Monoclonal antibody treatment is now available to certain individuals in Juneau.
The treatment involves using antibodies to reduce the risk of a severe case of COVID-19 in people who are at a higher risk. The FDA authorized monoclonal antibody treatment in November.
Antibody therapy will be reserved for people with certain preexisting conditions and priority will be given to those over 65. More information on eligibility can be found on the CBJ website.
