Alaska now has 151 COVID-19 cases reported, no new deaths

    Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services has announced eight new cases of COVID-19 in Alaska.

    This brings the total case count in Alaska to 151. A total of 13 patients have been hospitalized and no new deaths have been reported.

    According to Gov. Mike Dunleavy, the state is in possession of nearly 73,000 surgical masks, 4,700 gowns, and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anne ZInk says the state is in possession of 70 ventilators.

    A total of 5,530 tests have been administered as of Thursday afternoon.
