Alaska ferry problems continue

Homer, Alaska (KINY) 20 vehicles bound for Kodiak were left stranded a mechanical problems caused the delay to an Alaska Ferry.

The Kodiak Daily Mirror said the ferry was delayed by more than 33 hours by the mechanical problems caused by a computer issue.  The M/V Kennicott's vehicle elevator was the source of the problem

Bad weather on the return trip to Kodiak also caused further delays.

There was a lack of space on the ferry after all the delayed passengers got to board so some of the freight was left behind.  Those items will be delivered to Kodiak on April 21-22.
