Alaska DOT releases second survey on infrastructure bill

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Department of Transportation has announced another survey for the public to weigh in on the use of funds from the federal infrastructure bill.

The department held a similar survey earlier in the year that yielded 1,700 responses and over 3,000 comments.

This survey features an interactive map, which participants can use to pinpoint their area of interest in the state.

The survey then asks which of the areas the participant would like to comment on; Road and Highways, Aviation System and Airports, Nonmotorized Infrastructure like bike lanes, multiuse paths, trail systems, and the Marine Highway and marine infrastructure.

The survey must be completed by April 8th.
