Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Bar Association has booked Harvard professor and legal analyst Alan Dershowitz as a keynote speaker during the group's October convention.
Robert Stone is the president of the ABA. He explained the booking of Dershowitz in an email to News of the North.
“Professor Dershowitz is a prominent legal scholar with nearly 50 years experience as a Harvard Law professor,” Stone wrote. “He is a civil libertarian and champion of civil rights. Professor Dershowitz holds the distinction of representing two (President Clinton and President Trump) of only three presidents that have had impeachment trials. He has countless additional experiences to share with the members of the Alaska Bar Association.”
Dershowitz is scheduled to speak Oct. 30 at 6:30 during the ABA’s convention reception and dinner.
