35 Workplace Deaths Reported in Alaska

    Fairbanks, Alaska (KINY) 14 people died in Alaska work place related deaths in 2015. That number more than doubled in 2016.

    Fairbanks News 11 reported that production, transportation and material moving jobs took the lives of 16 people.  Truck drivers were one of the more dangerous jobs.  Many of the deaths occur in winter time truck crashes.
