11 new cases of COVID-19 reported

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The state total of COVID-19 cases went from 235 to 246 Friday morning.

    The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services also confirmed an additional case in Juneau.  We now have 15 confirmed cases.

    The report showed 55 patients have recovered, 28 remain hospitalized, and there have been seven deaths in the state.

    The most common age group for patients is between 30-39 with 21 cases reported.

    Ketchikan continued to have 14 cases.

    Anchorage had the most cases of any Alaskan city with 101 patients.  Fairbanks has 60 cases.
