      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé hockey team got an unexpected first goal that picked up the Crimson Bears enthusiasm and highlighted a 6-2 win over the Tri-Valley Viking Warriors on Tuesday at Treadwell Arena.

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Railbelt Conference’s Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé Crimson Bears junior varsity hockey team got a bite of the Aurora Conference Tri-Valley Warriors on Monday at Treadwell Arena, winning 3-1 in a warm up for the JDHS varsity clashes with the Warriors on Tuesday and Wednesday.

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé Crimson Bears girls were too tall, too fast and shot too well for the Mt. Edgecumbe High School Lady Braves, winning on the rock in Sitka on Friday 57-40 and Saturday 62-35.

      Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Thunder Mountain High School boys basketball team finished their stint in the Palmer Elks Showdown Tournament on Saturday outshooting the Nome Nanooks 81-75.

      Retired journalists Ed Schoenfeld and Betsy Longenbaugh present their latest historic true crime research, on the myths and truths surrounding the Birdman of Alcatraz, who committed his first murder in Juneau. Dessert is served by @TreadwellKitchen. It's the first of three Death, with Dessert, programs. The others are March 5, Dismemberment in Sitka, and April 2, Death Comes to the Douglas Underworld.
