Wade has the helm from 5:00pm to 9:00pm weekdays, and on Saturdays from 11:00am to 4:00pm. During the week, he makes the "drive at 5" fun, interesting, informative, and something to really look forward to. On the weekends, he helps you play!

BIO: You can always tell a successful and happy radio station by the length of time its announcers have been on the air. Wade Rogers first started working for KINY in 1990 and has been there every since.
     For fun, Wade brings you the Word of the Day, the Useless fact of the Day, as well as a complete look at local events.  On Fridays, you’ll want to get ready for the weekend by listening for upcoming events of local interest.  Given his penchant for community involvement, including performance and public relations for Juneau Lyric Opera, web master for the Juneau Yacht Club, www.juneauyachtclub.org, and stints as a host of the American Cancer Society's annual Cancer Walk, Wade understands the value of local, community involvement.
     Wade’s career in radio has spanned some 27 years, employed by radio stations in Arizona, Oklahoma, Seattle and now for KINY/KSUP in Juneau.  As Dad to three grown children, he’s been blessed with several Grandchildren. Not bad for such a youngster!
