Juneau, Alaska (KINY) The national weather service predicts up to 15 inches of snow in Juneau between midnight tonight and Friday night.
The forecast calls for one to three inches of snow tonight, and up to five inches on Thursday. Snow is in the forecast through Friday.
Meteorologist Aaron Jacobs said it is a large but evolving system and listeners should stay tuned to the national weather service for updates. He said the entire southeast region could see large amounts of snow, which would be the largest snowfall of this winter.
Today there is a wind warning in downtown Juneau with gusts expected to reach 65 miles per hour.
