Trooper arrested for computer complaint

    Anchorage, Alaska (KINYO Michael Alexander, a five year veteran of AST is accused of illegal access to a computer.

    Alaska State Troopers said they received a report January 5 that Alexander may have illegally accessed a device that belonged to someone with whom he had a previous personal connection.

    Authorities served a warrant to search his residence along with the Alaska National Guard Provost Marshal Office.

    He has been charged with two counts of criminal use of a computer, a felony.

    Alexander is currently on active duty with the Army National Guard in the Provost Marshal Office.

    Troopers said the investigation is ongoing.
