Tip leads to drug arrest

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) A Klawock resident was held on three drug charges at the Ketchikan International Airport.

    Troopers said Kolten Tipton, 30, was contacted at the airport after they received information that he would be in possession of narcotics.  The investigation found Tipton possessed methamphetamine, heroin and non prescribed medication.

    Tipton was taken to the Ketchikan Jail to face three charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree.
