Three Juneau Men Facing Multitude of Wildlife Violations

    Juneau, AK (KINY) - Three Juneau men are facing a slew of wildlife related charges at the Juneau District Court.

    Alejandro Perez, age 33, Marco Mojarro, age 32, and Efrain Mojarro, age 37, were issued court summons on Tuesday. A Wildlife investigation revealed that the hunting party were involved in the taking of a Sitka Blacktail Deer on the Greens Creek Mine road system on Admiralty Island by shooting from the roadway.

    Violations include:

    Misconduct Involving Weapons 4th, No Hunting License, Nonresident Alien Take Deer Without Metal Locking Tag, Nonresident Alien Take Game Without a Guide, Deer Harvest Tickets Required, Unlawful Methods of Taking Game, and Unlawful Possession

    Two of those hunters did not have the proper hunting licenses, tags, and metal locking tags. Arraignment was set for February 8th.
