The Anchorage Daily News said police reported the student had become unruly on a school bus and threatened to shoot up the school.  Police determined there was no immediate threat to the school but decided that the threat alone, warranted criminal charges.

The bus driver said the student became agitated and made the threat Tuesday afternoon.  When he was escorted to school by his parents Wednesday, he was questioned by school resource officers and placed under arrest.

There was no immediate word on what charge he will face.  He was referred to the Division of Juvenile Justice.
