Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau Representative Andi Story feels the Alaska House of Representatives is close to organizing and said on Action Line that it will be a bi-partisan coalition.
"It has to be," she said. "The people have sent a diverse group up to the capitol. So we're working it out and we'll come together."
Story said freshman lawmakers like herself have forged good relationships.
"They're pulling in the same direction and that is going to serve Alaska very well."
Story said all 40 members will have an opportunity to choose to serve in a bi-partisan coalition. She added it will be up to individual members to decide.
Tuesday marks the third week of the first session of the 31st Alaska Legislature.
Story was a guest on Monday's Action Line.
