The State House plans to continue pursing a legal challenge to Governor Bill Walker's authority to expand Medicaid.

We have reaction from Juneau Representative Cathy Munoz, "It gets to a separation of powers issue in terms of whether or not the governor can accept monies outside of legislative authority. My feeling though is on the lawsuit, I don't support the legislature moving forward with the lawsuit. If it comes up to a vote I will be a no vote in proceeding. I think at this point it's pretty clear that the lawsuit doesn't look like it will be successful and I think we need to direct our resources to more pressing needs."

Munoz made her remarks on today's edition of Action Line.

Senate Majority Leader John Coghill recommended last week that the Legislature drop the case.
