Shots ring out in Switzer Village

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) A 26-year-old Juneau man was locked up on misdemeanor charges for allegedly shooting off a handgun twice while intoxicated.

    Marcos Estigoi, was charged with misconduct involving weapons and disorderly intoxication after the incident reported at 10 pm on Thursday night.

    Officers said no one was struck and that the gun was fired close to his trailer.

    Estigoi was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center to await a court appearance.
