Rep. Zach Fansler's Staff Reassigned to House Rules

Juneau, AK (AP) - Staff members for Alaska state Rep. Zach Fansler have been reportedly reassigned after a Juneau Empire story where a woman alleged that Fansler hit her during a night of drinking.

From the Associated Press, Mike Mason has said that Fansler's staff will now be with the House Rules chair's office.

Fansler has been asked for commentary by multiple news outlets. His office was locked this morning at the Capitol. This comes two days after House Speaker Bryce Edgmon called for Fansler to resign. Fansler's attorney has said that there was no crime.

The woman that revealed the nature of her night supposedly spent with Fansler provided doctor's notes to show that her ear had been injured.
