Police solve smash and grab robbery

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) Video surveillance led police to a getaway vehicle and four suspects.

    Ketchikan police caught four teens in connection with a smash and grab robbery at the Salmon Landing Market that occurred in February.

    Trent Olsen, 19 and three 16 year old suspects will face burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the third degree and theft in the third degree.  

    The police said the group threw a large rock through the glass front door and stole $350 worth of alcohol while causing over $800 in property
    damage.
