Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) The moose visited the physical therapy office at Alaska Regional Hospital.
Stephanie Hupton captured the visit with her cell phone camera and posted a video of the incident. The video showed the most check out some greenery in the lobby entrance, before it stood and gazed at the camera. It spent just under ten minutes in the building and left via an open door.
Hupton moved to Alaska three years ago from Carroll, Iowa. In the past she has seen deer and cows but nothing as exotic as a moose.
"It's definitely different than small-town Iowa," she added.
Hospital Officials said the moose was likely attracted by the plants inside. The doors were stuck open because of the extreme cold temperatures.
