Man drowns in Copper River

    Chitina, Alaska (KINY) - Alaska State Troopers said a man had been fishing when the incident occurred.

    Glennallen Post Troopers responded to the report of a man falling into the river while dip netting.  Russell Hepler, 35, of Delta Junction drowned and his body was later recovered by search and rescue crews.

    Troopers said there were no signs of foul play in the death but an investigation continues.
