Man accused of backing vehicle into pedestrian

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau Police said the suspect nearly struck others as he fled the scene.

    Police said Christian Orazio, 21  faces a host of charges after striking a pedestrian with a vehicle on Front Street early Thursday.

    Juneau police said he fled the scene at a high rate of speed and nearly hitting a group of bystanders.

    Charges include DUI, felony assault, felony fleeing and attempting to elude and reckless driving.

    A passenger, 25 was charged with interference in the investigation.

    In a separate incident, Juneau police charged Bethany Kunkle, 33 with assault in the first degree and violations of
    conditions of release after responding to the report of an assault on Egan Drive early Thursday.
