Mackey undecided on re-election to school board, but leaning toward another run

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The seat now held by Emil Mackey on the Juneau School Board will be on the local election ballot in October.

He was asked about his plans for re-election while a guest on Action Line Tuesday.   "I haven't decision.  Probably leaning toward running again."

Their  child is now nine months old which he says takes away a lot of spare time. "But I'm just going to have to play it by ear and really make my decision when its time to file."

The filing period for the October 2 election is August 3rd to the 13th.

Incumbents Andi Story and Josh Keaton are also facing re-election.  Like Mackey, both have told us that they have yet to make a final decision.
