Kito spurns government job

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) Sam Kito turned down an offer to become Skagway Town Manager.

Instead, he will work in the facilities division at the University of Alaska Southeast.

Kito said he gave the decision a lot of thought weighing budget cuts in the university system, versus travel challenges
    of going to Skagway

Skagway also interviewed David Milliron a city manager in Hogansville, Georgia.

Jack Ardaugh, an attorney in Chicago was also a finalist for the job.
