Ketchikan man faces drug and DUI charges

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) -Alaska State Troopers said a traffic stop led to the discovery of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

    Troopers arrested Johnathan Jackson, 36, and charged him with driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of a narcotic.  Troopers also reported that they located methamphetamines inside the vehicle.

    Jackson has two prior DUI convictions in the state.  He was also cited for driving while license suspended and failure to show proof of insurance.

    He was held at the Ketchikan Correctional Center without the privilege of bail.
