Juneau traffic stop nets warrant arrest

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A vehicle stopped Saturday by Alaska Wildlife Troopers from the Juneau Post for a equipment violation netted an arrest on an outstanding warrant.

    The vehicle operated by 33 year old Joseph Schultz of Juneau was stopped on Egan Drive near the Salmon Creek trail head.

    Investigation revealed that Schultz had a $100 Trooper warrant for his arrest on a probation violation.

    The Trooper dispatch says Schutlz was placed under arrest and jailed at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
