Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Loren Jones will seek a third term on the Juneau Assembly during October's local election.
"I'm running," Jones said on Action Line Friday. "I filed my letter of intent I think last November, set up a bank account two or three weeks ago." He also filed all his paperwork with the Alaska Public Offices Committee, he said.
Jones was asked on Action Line today (Friday) why he wants a third term. He cited two things. "I've enjoyed the almost six years I've been on the Assembly. I think we have done a really, really good job for the citizens of Juneau related the budget and services. I think we've got a lot more facing us in the next two or three years. I'd like to contribute to that very much.
